History.lds.org was due for a redesign. They hadn't had an update in more than 3 years. I was tasked with leading the UX work and defining the vision and strategy. The homepage was the first step.
StellarAthletes needed a whole new experience to go with their new brand. This was a complete redesign conceptually and followed the strategy and vision of the business owners. I worked with the business owners to conceptualize the solution, designed the prototypes, coded the html/css and worked with the development team through the complete cycle through deployment.
Northwest cosmetics Labs
The challenge was to develop a corporate site that would showcase what NCL does-contract cosmetics. This was a redesign where I was responsible for the design, the HTML/CSS and leading the project team through development and implementation. NCL's logo the lips was really the conceptual center of the design from both a color basis and design/theme concept.
delectable Girl Cosmetics
A truly challenging project from beginning to end. The client had a site that was close to going live and the message and experiences were not what the client wanted. My job was to improve the experience with the existing site and improve the message. The screen samples are actually a redesign concept that was later implemented. I developed the concepts, the design and the HTML/CSS for this project as well as lead the project team to develop and implement the solution.
It's about love
I have had a great opportunity working for the LDS Church. I have worked on many projects and websites. But there is one project that stands out above the rest and it is not so much because of the end result rather because of the process and the impact it had on me and my life. I learned valuable lessons about truly hearing the end users (listening). I learned valuable lessons about how the Lord impacts his own work and ultimately I learned a valuable lesson about delivering what is right and not what I think is cool or what we should do.
Nicole Miller was known for her clothing line and she wanted to develop a makeup line of her own. My job was to create a website that would align with the NM Brand and support the product development and online sales and service for the make-up line. I was responsible for the design, the HTML/CSS and led the project team through development of this project.
I worked at Melaeuca for more than 5 years and in that time we redesigned the website 3 times. This is one of the major redesigns. I was responsible for the conceptual design, HTML/CSS and leading the project team through development, implementation and maintenance.
Since my web design career has spanned more then 15 years I thought it important to showcase some of the older design projects. After all design is still design, right? No matter what decade it was created?!
